Silent Stones, Speaking Stones

IF…

they could speak with words…

but need not…

what would they tell you? us?

what would you like to sit with and listen?

but again their silence is already their language. so, perhaps the question is: how long can i listen with their silence?

  1. wow very powerful message DFish. Short but powerful. I guess I haven’t been quiet for a long time now. I mean I rarely talk but inside me, there is this noise that annoys me. I hope one day i could go back to my old silent self were everything I listen to is the sweet voice of the one above in the silence of his presence.

Just dropped by. ang tagal ko na pala di nakakadalaw dito. mag iisang buwan na.

  2. Brother- this is profound. i sometimes ponder on the language of silence and all i could drive is that it is as deafening as the boisterous tocsin of cars. yet, unlike the maddening sounds of the street or the huddling voices of the crowd, silence speaks only of beauty which we often missed out. by all means, i am convince that silence is the language of the soul.

ponder on this brother: when we rearrange the word “silent” we derive a beautiful term “listen”. the affinity is so clear to refute – “When our mind and heart become silent, we listen reflectively.”🙂

    • We were born from silence and we will die into silence. It’s the great cycle of being and nothingness i suppose… I like the anagramatic insight Igsoon, yes, the greatest reverence we could offer for silence is listening…

Dumarami lang o kaya lumiliit in time. ^^

    • Hi Milay, welcome back. Tagal mo ring nawala ah…Busy i’m sure. Yes, those stones, they could tell a lot of untold, or wish not be told stories….Ikanga sa Little Prince – words are often the sources of misunderstanding…Thanks for dropping by again..

  4. They now tell me that in time, we change in shape even in color and sometimes we break… sometimes it is in brokenness we become another being beautifully shaped…

  5. Wow naman,

puno ng meaningness <-may word bang ganito? Nyahahahahaha:D

Tama ka, we can identify to some point with the characteristics of some stones. Higit sa lahat, we are one of them as creatures…

    ang ganda, the best…
