Mabayong Kuman Pasko

Sugod ngaj-an, hamok na sab mangabayong. Bisan uno ka purdoy, pag-abot manger1sa inom, bisan unhon makainom man gihapon. Kon way motangway, pila ray pag-amot-amot. Na kay kon jaoy seaman na barkada kay hagbay ra man an lima ka case na tangway. Paagi man sab ini nan pagbanyas nan pila ka buyan na kamingaw sa barko. Basta sugod ngaj-an, hamok an mag overtime pag-inom: an iban aja na apasa, an iban mangujit na, an iban magsindigwa na, an iban manggawas na an ininglis, an iban magminaro na (jabhan gamay), an iban magpasumangil na mangihi pero di na mobalik, an iban arang na kapuya an wayong, an iban mangilog na nan mike, an iban magpihisajaw na.

keeps my brain working, Mahalia. And it’s fun really to write in our language…Happy New Year to the free and a li’l bit “frozen” family.

  2. merry christmas to you & your family mr. dfish. you’re one of those few very inspiring, self made people from our hometown. gamay pa ako tag-admire ko na kaw, tungod sa mga marajaw na istorya nan ako mama about you. permi kaw himoon ni mama na example/model sa ako para mainspire ako pagtuon para mabright parehas nimo. hehe. i told mama about your blog. nangumusta sija sa imo. ya kaw kuno nija mapupil, pero nahibayo sija na super intelligent kaw and that you will be a success. we are happy to know that you’ve achieved so much already. anyway, keep on writing and remain an inspiration to us. God bless!

Ahem (Minainit). Eheeem (Tagalog?). Hi Ann, bagan molanay man sab anhi an sobra na humba. Balitaw, thanks for your candid words of appreciation. Uy, si Mama nimo – si Maam Eden – she is one of the most respected teachers QES ever had. Kalma ra man gud si Mama nimo, mangasaba pero di man molagat na bagan sawanon kaw. I recall now I was really raised around very dedicated teachers bisan underpaid, very affirming. And you know what early affirmation does to every growing child. I guess as a family, you have the trademark behavior for being cool but intelligent. Your Manong Randy, I really liked him a lot and I remember back in the SNA basketball court during mornings how I admired him for being a cool, health buff, almost never had a tiff among the hotheaded and despite his height and built strong as a bull. An tinuod Ann, bagan dali ra ako nag-mature, natiguyang matud pa tungod sa ako tag-agian and along the way, i gather morsels of wisdom and learning. My religious training helped me a lot in developing senses more aware on what’s going on. Sa pagkakuman, i have one utmost desire and that is to serve Papa Jesus, bagjohon man obin maglunop. I’m sure you are also enjoying the fruits of your labor. I heard you also graduated from DLSU-Taft. That’s great enough! Just stay in the grip of the Lord wherever you are. Na hala, kay bagan ya pa ako anhi kahilisi, kahapon pa ini. Pasensya na!
