“Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.”
3 John 1:2
Hans, Mommy and Daddy went to the churchyard of the Shrine. Mommy proceeded to the Adoration Chapel and I was left to look after Hans. There were around 20 kids romping. Hans has the habit of pulling a child within his reach into play, a strong early sign of a highly gregarious personality. If the child could only stand still and confused on what to do with the invitation, he gets irked. As he joined the romping kids, I saw him rushing toward a 3-year old girl. I was following him, thinking he would just cajole her to play. Lo and behold – Hans instead bit her on her arm, though less forcefully because it left no punctured skin on the girl. 3 John 1:2 seem an appropriate verse for that day’s wildness.
Friend, who do you want to wish good health and well-being today or the coming days? I have 3 on top of my list: Brother Jorge’s sister, my own sister’s husband who lost a job, and families in Muslim Mindanao.
